Writing is a Marathon….

Writing is a Marathon….

These last few months have been so busy I’m barely keeping my head above water. There have been several times when I wanted to get writing, but life got in the way. I know I’m supposed to carve out time, but when you’re super stressed, sometimes the thought of doing that only adds to the stresses and kills the creativity.

Hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are so close to moving I can taste it, and there are half packed and empty boxes slowly blocking us into our apartment. Problem with packing in a small apartment? When the stuff is in the boxes, there begins to be a space problem.

I’m also beginning to think about packing up my personal things from my classroom, as I am moving to a library in another school next year. I’m super excited to change from technology education teacher to high school librarian, but there are lots of things to go through first. After 8 years in one classroom, you forget how much stuff you bring in and use that’s actually yours.

I’m still querying the latest manuscript, and now I’m totally reworking a previous manuscript I’d started a long time ago. I got quite a ways into it before it fell apart, and I think I can save it by taking it back to characters and reworking what I wanted to do with the main idea.

What are you working on?
